What is KYC / Why do I need to fulfill KYC requirements?
As per the regulations set by Central Bank of the UAE, all banks need to maintain valid identity documents / information for their customers, at all times. This helps the banks know / understand their customers and their financial dealings to be able to serve them better and manage risks prudently.

Based on the communication you receive from the bank, you may need to submit, some or all of the, following documents according to your category.
Documents for Individual Customers
- Emirates ID
- Passport
- Visa
- FATCA Self-declaration form
- Proof of Residential Address in UAE (Ejari, Utility bill or other bank statement from last 3 months)
- Income Proof
- CRS Declaration Form
- User Guide
Documents for Corporate Customers
- Emirates ID for all shareholders
- Passport for all shareholders
- Visa for all shareholders
- Proof of Operating Address in UAE (Ejari, Utility bill or other bank statement from last 3 months)
- Trade License or Certificate of Incorporation
- Memorandum & Articles of Association
- FATCA Self-declaration Form
- CRS Declaration Form
- User Guide
