Job Purpose:
As a Relationship Manager, specializing on small and medium enterprises (SMEs), the candidate’s pivotal role is to manage and expand a diverse portfolio of SME clients. The primary focus will be to develop strong relationships, gain insights into clients' business needs, and provide customized financial solutions that support their growth and success. The role demands a comprehensive understanding of the SME market in the UAE, along with expertise in financial products, and exemplary relationship management capabilities.
Key Accountabilities:
- Financials:
- Achieve defined financial KPI’s for the financial year focusing on monthly and quarterly targets through FX, Trade, Asset growth & deposit/CASA increases.
- Achieve defined financial KPI’s for the financial year focusing on monthly and quarterly targets through FX, Trade, Asset growth & deposit/CASA increases.
- Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with SME clients within the assigned portfolio.
- Understand Clients' business operations, financial needs, and challenges.
- Portfolio Growth and Management
- Spearhead the acquisition of new SME clients and effectively manage and enhance the existing portfolio to achieve growth targets.
- Conduct regular assessments of the portfolio to ensure alignment with agreed upon KPI’s, driving growth on a monthly & quarterly basis.
Key Skills:
- In-depth knowledge of financial products and services relevant to SMEs and relationship-building skills.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Strategic thinking and the ability to drive innovation in financial solutions for SMEs.
- Professional certifications in banking or finance would be an advantage
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and market dynamics affecting SMEs.
Qualifications Essential:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field
- Extensive experience in SME banking or commercial banking (Min. 3 Yrs as SME Relationship Manager), with a proven record of accomplishment of success in portfolio growth and management.
Qualifications Essential:
- MBA or relevant postgraduate qualification is a plus.
Language:
- Good communication skills both oral and written in English (Arabic is an advantage)
