Job Purpose
The role is to manage the IT Strategy and Planning function that develop and maintain the IT strategy, aligned with SIB business objectives, develop IT strategy execution roadmap in a form of transformation initiatives, steer the implementation of IT strategic plans and Perform Research and Development for banking industries new IT outlooks.
Key Accountabilities
- Develop and promote ITD strategy and transformation plans and objectives
- Develop and maintain the IT strategic plan aligned with the bank's business objectives.
- Develop the transformation agenda and lead change management when there are changes in the strategic direction in collaboration with related SIB functions.
- Lead digital strategy initiatives and innovation projects.
- Oversee the portfolio of IT projects to ensure alignment with strategic goals.
- Conduct regular market and technology trend analysis to inform strategy.
- Ensure ITD goals are aligned with SIB goals
- Drive digital transformation initiatives, including cloud adoption, AI integration, and finTech collaboration.
- Collaborate with business units to identify technology needs and opportunities.
- Monitor and report on the performance of IT strategy initiatives, and Identify strategy materialization risks
Key Skills
Technical Skills: Expertise in IT frameworks (e.g., COBIT, ITIL), deep understanding of enterprise architecture and cloud computing strategies, proficiency in control practices and regulatory compliance (e.g., GDPR, PCI DSS), experience with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Waterfall), knowledge of banking systems, finTech, and digital transformation technologies, with domain certificates such as PMP, ITIL, TOGAF, AgilePM, SAFe or equivalent.
Interpersonal Skills: Must be a team player who leads the team from the front, strong communication and presentation skills to interact with executives and stakeholders, strategic thinker with problem-solving and analytical capabilities, adaptability to changing business and technological landscapes.
Other Qualifications
Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, Relevant certifications such as CGEIT, PMP, AgilePM, SAFe, ITIL, TOGAF
Experience : 12+ years in IT strategy, project management, and business alignment.
